MIG Welding
Metal Inert Gas - welding used for large and thick materials. It employs a consumable wire, acting as the electrode and the filler material, melted together forming a join.
TIG Welding (GTAW)
Tungsten Inert Gas - arc welding with a tungsten. Used to weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, nickel alloys, magnesium, copper, brass, bronze, and gold.
Stick Welding (MMA or MMAW)
Manual Metal Arc Welding - arc is struck between a metal rod and the work material. Used to weld iron, steel, aluminum, nickel, and copper.
